Felipe was awesome! I was a bit freaked out that I destroyed my engine after it ran out of oil the previous night and got stuck in limp mode. He was able to come out between appointments to reset the sensors and check the engine so I could get back on the road as quick as possible. Amazing and quick service from a kind person.

I was having problems with my wrench and check engine light coming on. Then my car started shaking really bad it sounded and felt like it was going to stall on me. I called a few mobile mechanics here in Medford. 1 mechanic gave me a quote of $925.00 parts & labor. I also called two good auto repair shops in Medford and 1 gave me a quote of $1,100.00 parts & labor. The other gave me a quote of $1,350.00 parts & labor. I called Mr. Ortiz explained what was going on. He gave me a quote of $590.00 parts & labor. He came on Monday 8/3/2026 right on time at 9 am. It took him 1 hour and a half. He also put my car on his new diagnostics machine to check if anything else was wrong. I have 1 more coil & spark plug to change. All I have to say is this Mr. Ortiz know about cars. He is professional, reliable, affordable, on time, quick to respond and very honest. He will be doing ALL of my work from now on. If I could give him 10 stars, I would most definitely without a doubt. ***Please, give him a call, you won't be disappointed!***

There’s definitely a language bar he does not speak any English. And then he charged me double to replace a battery in my car. He told me he paid $600 for the battery and then refuse to give me the receipt for the court deposit so I called every place in town that carries batteries and ask him how much they charge for that size the most expensive one was $229.

I would give him 0 star, He is only interested in your money. Very poor diagnosis. I got P0524 code, I called this guy, he initially said he would charge $285 for oil change ( He brought oil and filter ) He told me he is going to use good quality oil thats why he is charging more. In that price he also promised that he will do diagnosis of P0524 code, which he did but absolutely wrong way. He removed the oil pressure valve and cleaned it and put it back since he could not find the new part in the area which is fine but it was not valve it was just oil pressure sensor. Any simple mechanic would first try to find oil pressure sensor not the valve its different thing. And Yes he took it back that new oil and filter with him and never changed. I thought he will charge me less since he said i dont need to have new oil and change because it was good. I was predicting he is trying to save my money by not having oil and filter because the issue is something else but guess what?? i was wrong. After he finished diagnosis told me it will be $300 ( he barely spent one hour ), I called him in regular hour not afterhours like midnight or early morning. Mr. Ortiz is a miracle worker! My 88-year-old dad has maintained his own vehicles all his life and is VERY distrustful of mechanics, having been scammed in the past. When he couldn't figure out why his 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 wouldn't spark, I convinced my dad to let me call Ortiz Mobile Auto Repair. Mr. Ortiz surpassed my wildest expectations: He got my dad to trust a mechanic! Mr. Ortiz took a truck we weren't sure would ever run again and had it purring like a baby kitten within 24 hours. He drove out to my dad's house immediately after my call, explained exactly what he was doing and why, and charged very reasonable prices. Mr. Ortiz is a consummate professional; I cannot recommend him enough. :) Thank you! Edited to add that Mr. Ortiz did this during Christmas week, working in my dad's muddy front yard in the rain!
